Law firm scores with Leeds United sponsorship
Leeds United Football Club has gained the backing of one of the city’s leading law firms for the second year running.
Simpson Millar is extending its sponsorship with the Whites for the 2013-2014 season.
The firm’s managing partner, Peter Watson, is a life-long Leeds United fan and has supported the team through some difficult seasons.
Peter said: “The city and the club are on the up as demonstrated by United’s latest poster campaign and messages across Leeds; everyone is looking forward to a new era with new owners and an experienced manager in Brian McDermott. I can really feel the excitement about this season building, so we’ll be ‘Marching on Together’ with the club at Elland Road and looking forward to success on the field after a good few years in the wilderness.”
Simpson Millar operates 11 UK-wide offices from its headquarters in Leeds and, as part of the sponsorship deal, will feature extensively on the pitch-side advertising hoardings as well as on the Leeds United website.
The arrangement also continues a tradition of sports sponsorship for the law firm with Doncaster Racecourse another of its long-term strategic partners.
