Grab a fist full of cash with The Gates

Durham shoppers will have the chance to grab a selection of prizes thanks to The Gates Shopping Centre’s Cash Grabber this August.

Located within Durham’s main city centre retail destination on Saturday August 17th and the 24th, the public will have 30 seconds to battle inside the Cash Grabber against the wind machine to take home as many top-prize tokens as possible.

There will be a variety of prizes available including cash, vouchers for an array of Durham retailers, as well as some boobie prizes.

Hosted in partnership with Metro Radio, the event will be presented by NE1fm the Lunchtime Lick presenter, Stefan Wilkes, with a special appearance from Kenny D on Saturday August 24th.

The Gates’ operations manager, Daniel Tabiner, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for shoppers to have some fun and win some cash as well as lots of other great prizes. It also serves as a reminder of the fantastic range of retailers we have here at The Gates.

“There’s no telling what you can win when the wind machine is blowing the tokens in all directions, but there’s plenty up for grabs so we’ll be encouraging everyone to give it a go.”
