On being change agents

Our global business attracted the attention of British journalism recently, and this week a photography crew came to our London HQ to complete a shoot for an upcoming feature for a national broadsheet. Currently our lips are sealed on why, but not for long. On top of this Ve Interactive was shortlisted in July for ‘Digital Company of the Year’ in the National Business Awards 2013 and on Wednesday, received the supremely exciting news that it has won a Gold, Silver and a Bronze Award in the 2013 International Business Awards, (The Stevies), beating out thousands of other business from around the globe. The Stevies are known as the world’s premier business awards program with the New York Post describing them as the Oscars of the Business World. Achieving all this, just three and a half years after we started Ve? Well to understate it would be to just say that we’re ‘proud.’

Pulling off this astonishing trifecta, we hope will provide exactly the sort of accreditation that gives comfort to our clients, a fellowship that has become increasingly sceptical of and inured to overheated claims within the mushrooming cart abandonment industry. An industry increasingly riddled with technology and compliance flaws, and one that is dependent on others having continued commercial failings. The industry itself is plateauing now, with more and more Email Service Providers offering their own basket abandonment software. We are therefore delighted that our unique approach to the actual solving of our client’s online efficiency issues has differentiated us and subsequently garnered so much industry attention and credit. We have worked hard.

Catalysts for change

When asked what single event was most helpful in developing the Theory of Relativity, Albert Einstein once said that “figuring out how to think about the problem” was the key to arriving at his rule. Following his lead, we took a tectonic shift away from the silo-ed basket abandonment pack over two years ago, to focus instead on wider online engagement and convenience solutions that our e-commerce clients need to be able to provide their clients in today’s multi device world. And by developing complementary new software solutions, we were also making sure that our clients were less vulnerable to changes in consumer behaviour, data protection regulations and technologies too. It’s an ongoing process and soon we will be announcing further exciting additions to our portfolio. And this unique approach of consistently ‘seeing around the e-commerce corner’ will mean that we can continue to lead the charge for our clients, whilst setting the bar high for our industry.

And as we continue on our innovation curve, how brilliant to have the journey punctuated by the occasional industry award and accolade too!

So thank you team Ve across the world, our collective company is the guru.
