Triple success for property firm at Liverpool landmark
Bruntwood has secured a trio of deals with new and existing customers for its serviced office space at Oriel Chambers in Liverpool.
National law firm Simpson Millar, which has offices at 10 locations across the UK, has chosen the Grade 1-listed building for its first Liverpool base, taking a total of eight workstations.
Lawyerly, which provides a legal services search engine designed for mobile devices, has almost trebled its number of workstations to provide accommodation for a dozen members of staff.
Water Street Marketing, which chose Oriel Chambers as its first-ever location at the end of 2012, has now doubled the size of its serviced office suites.
Matt Lee, sales surveyor at Bruntwood, said: “The serviced space at Oriel Chambers continues to be a popular choice among businesses that are targeting early growth and need the ability to flex their arrangements easily.
“Finding flexible space in such an historic building, complete with period features, is a rare combination and attracting a law firm as established as Simpson Millar, while also agreeing larger deals with two existing customers, is testament to that appeal.”
Oriel Chambers dates from 1864 is one of the finest and most influential buildings of its age, being one of the first office buildings to use an iron framework structure. Its innovative design had a considerable influence on office buildings across the world.
The family-owned property group has recently refurbished the building, combining modern facilities with accurate period detail, high ceilings and large windows.
