Sales blooming at Amaranthus

Homes at a South Yorkshire housing development are proving to be popular with record sales reported on the site.

Housing developer Keepmoat’s Amaranthus development has been in high demand with location and price the two main factors catching the eye of house hunters.

The development, which is located in Wincobank, Sheffield, offers potential buyers a choice of two, three and four bedroom homes and apartments that will appeal to first time buyers, families and professionals.

Prices start at £74,396 on the Government’s Help to Buy scheme for a two-bedroom Wisteria apartment to £127,996 also on Help to Buy, for a four bedroom Rowan home.

The Wisteria apartments are ideal homes for first time buyers and boast an entrance hallway, light and spacious lounge/dining area, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms.

Also available from £105,596 on Help to Buy is the Ivy - a three bedroom, three-storey townhouse. This stunning new home, which may appeal to families and professionals, includes a WC and garage on the ground floor, a spacious kitchen/diner and lounge on the first floor and two bedrooms and a family bathroom with a larger master bedroom including en-suite bathroom on the second floor.

Alternatively, for buyers looking for more space, the four bedroom Rowan is available from £127,996 on Help to Buy. The home includes an entrance hallway and single garage on the ground floor, an open plan kitchen/dining room with French doors leading onto the garden, inner hallway with WC and a light and spacious lounge on the first floor, and a master bedroom with en-suite and a further three bedrooms and family bathroom on the second floor, making this an ideal family home.

Help to Buy offers buyers who have saved a 5% deposit the chance to take advantage of a five-year interest free loan covering 20% of the value of the property. The remaining 75% of the property’s value will be funded through a mortgage, which Keepmoat can help buyers to arrange.

The Amaranthus development is in a superb location with easy access to shops, leisure facilities, schools and transportation links.

Lower Wincobank offers a selection of local shops including an newsagent, restaurants and a small supermarket, with the popular Meadowhall Shopping Centre located just one mile from the development. There is also a Tesco Extra and Morrison’s supermarket both located within a 10 minute drive.

There are a number of recreational facilities in the area, including Wincobank Recreation Ground, Steel City Play Area and Concord Park and the development may be of particular interest to key workers and nurses with the Northern General Hospital, just over a mile away.

Vanessa Burling, Keepmoat New Build Sales Director in Yorkshire, said: “Sales at our Amaranthus development have proved to be extremely popular, especially our two bedroom apartments.

“The development is close to the city centre and offers exceptional value for money. The launch of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme has helped a lot of first time buyers to get a foot onto the property ladder and if you are thinking of buying a new home then please come and visit us to find out what Amaranthus has to offer.”
