Leeds shopping centre welcomes millionth visitor
Leeds’ newest shopping centre has this week welcomed its one millionth customer, less than six months after opening its doors.
Trinity Leeds, which opened on March 21st, saw its 10,000,000th visitor arrive at the centre on Tuesday, 158 days after its launch.
Trinity Leeds is the UK’s latest venue for retail, dining, leisure and entertainment and, in the last week alone, footwear and accessories brand Skechers and global sportswear giant Adidas chose Leeds for their latest flagship stores, while US lingerie retailer- Victoria’s Secret- opens today (August 29th) making the Leeds boutique one of only three outside of London.
Paul Smith, marketing manager for Trinity Leeds, said: “It is fantastic to have had our 10,000,000th shopper through the doors and is a real testament to the popularity of Trinity Leeds since we opened in March this year. By combining shopping with entertainment and events including pop-up shops, live performances and art installations, we offer shoppers something new each time they visit and very much look forward to continuing with further milestones in the years to come.”
