It is child's play at the Ricoh Arena

Childcare specialists from across the country and Europe will be sitting comfortably at the UK’s leading exhibition for the Early Years sector at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Visitors will have the opportunity to hear much-loved stories including Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Three Little Pigs in the Story Time Theme Area at Childcare Expo on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September.

Over ninety exhibitors from the Early Years, Childcare and Nursery sector in the UK, Finland and France are attending Childcare Expo – an increase of around ten per cent compared to 2012 – at the Jaguar Exhibition Hall.

Ten seminars will take place at the Ricoh Arena from industry experts on topics ranging from updates on early years’ policy developments to the future of childcare in the UK.

Childcare Expo’s event director Emma Barrett said the two-day show was designed to bring together nursery owners, managers, early years professionals and childminders.

She said: “This is the fourth year we have held Childcare Expo at the Ricoh Arena as visitors and exhibitors praise its location, parking and easy access and from our point of view, we receive great service from their staff and can take over its largest exhibition hall.

“It is a really busy show since we have thousands of products and services for people to discover, hands-on interactive workshops, networking opportunities and plenty of discounts and offers as well as educational and informative seminars.

“It is all designed to give professionals working in Early Years, Childcare and Nurseries the opportunity to gain new ideas on how to deliver their services, stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry and maximise their business to its full potential.

“Many of our exhibitors return year after year which underlines the stature Childcare Expo holds and the fact it leads to high-quality business orders.”

Chris Owen, senior events manager at the Ricoh Arena, said its flexible facilities and central location had an important part to play in attracting UK-wide exhibitions.

“Organisers whose visitors are travelling from all parts of the UK love our location in the heart of England and the fact we are within a few hundred yards of the M6 since it makes travelling much easier,” he said.

“This will be the biggest Childcare Expo yet and emphasises its status with those who work in this increasingly popular sector.

“The show is well organised and there is always a great atmosphere inside the Jaguar Exhibition Hall. I am sure its 2013 show will be another memorable two days.”
