Student accommodation firm takes space at MediaCity

Campus Living Villages has opened a UK regional office at Quay West, in Salford’s MediaCityUK.

The company has taken a nine year lease on a 2,600 sq ft office and will be located on the 8th floor of the West Wing of the building overlooking the waterfront and next to the Imperial War Museum North. Campus Living Villages own and manage student accommodation and communities. With 35,000 customers worldwide, the company has been operating in the UK since 2008 and is partnered with universities here, in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. This is the second letting in the past three months at Quay West, adding to the range of professional, health, creative, media, educational and technology businesses in the area. Rob Moyle, Chief Operating Officer at CLV UK said: “We are a rapidly expanding business. With a strong development pipeline across the country, Quay West provided a good base for a regional office to support our London team and to continue delivering innovative student accommodation solutions across the UK”. Liza Marco, Property Asset Manager at Quay West, MediaCityUK said, “The arrival of CLV to MediaCityUK is excellent news and will add to the already diverse range of companies located here. “This is Peel’s second letting in three months at Quay West which demonstrates its continued desirability.

“Quay West’s location will enable CLV to experience the vibrancy of MediaCityUK through the variety of cultural and sporting attractions, cinema, gym, world class events, shopping and the abundance of bars and restaurants. As a Peel office occupier, CLV will benefit from discounts at a range of these amenities”.
