Cosmetics company agrees lease at Irlam industrial estate
Lancashire-based cosmetics and cleaning products manufacturer Acdoco is taking new premises in Greater Manchester.
The firm has signed a 15-year lease on a 33,998 sq ft semi-detached warehouse unit at Northbank Industrial Estate, in Irlam, relocating from its current premises in Blackburn.
Existing tenants on the estate include Parcel Line, Perkins and Werit UK.
The facility includes a two-bay warehouse and office space across the ground and first floors.
The deal was secured by the Manchester industrial team at property consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle on behalf of Standard Life Investments.
Mark Sillitoe, director at Jones Lang Lasalle, said: “Northbank continues to be a prime industrial location in the North West. Thanks to its excellent transport links and superb accommodation, it has attracted another quality occupier.”
Acdoco traces its origins to the Astley Dye and Chemical Company, founded in 1919 in Astley Bridge, Bolton.
