Tradedoubler appoints Stewart Emerson as Vice-President, Sales & Marketing
Tradedoubler, the leading international digital performance marketing and technology company, has appointed Stewart Emerson as Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, effective immediately.
Emerson joined Tradedoubler as Interim Marketing and Communications Director, in September 2012 and this appointment sees him transition into a newly-created permanent role, where he will continue to report to Tradedoubler CEO, Rob Wilson.
Emerson has more than 15 years’ pan-European experience, in senior sales and marketing roles and has worked in the Netherlands and Germany, as well as the UK. Prior to Tradedoubler, Emerson was Managing Director of Facilitate Digital an Australian-based marketing technology company. Emerson honed his e-commerce skills working as VP Online & Telesales at T-Mobile for more than four years after which he joined Artilium, the AIM listed mobile technology company as Sales & Marketing Director. Previous senior roles include periods spent at Philips, Nortel and Vodafone.
In his new role at Tradedoubler, Emerson will be responsible for creating and implementing the company’s strategic marketing and sales enablement initiatives as well as assuming overall responsibility for marketing.
“We’ve seen at first-hand the positive impact that Stewart has had on the business since joining us on an interim basis,” says Rob Wilson, President & CEO, Tradedoubler.
“Stewart has a natural sales-focus and a real understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce on an international scale. Now, as a fully-fledged member of the senior team, Stewart can implement the strategic insights he’s gained and create a truly sales-focused marketing organisation that will be the best in the business,” continues Wilson.
Stewart Emerson, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Tradedoubler, says: “Tradedoubler has been through a period of significant change over the past 12 months and we’ve come out the other side stronger, fitter, more customer-focused and hungry for success. We’re steadfastly determined to continue building our position as the leading international performance marketing network”.
As well as a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, Emerson also holds an MA in Web Design and Content.
