Leeds law firm shortlisted for national awards
Emsleys is celebrating after being shortlisted for two celebrated Law Society Excellence Awards in recognition of the firm’s innovation.
The awards, which this year received a record number of entries, celebrate excellence in the legal profession and Emsleys has been shortlisted for its new-to-market service, Review My Claim, which launched earlier this year to help accident victims.
Andrew Greenwood, senior partner and personal injury law expert at the firm, said: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for these prestigious national awards. Review My Claim was borne out of a disappointment at poor standards in certain parts of the personal injury industry, where we estimate that approximately 50,000 claims are mishandled each year.
Given the need for clarity and objectivity in this sensitive area, the service is free and independent. According to Andrew Greenwood, six months after its introduction, uptake of Review My Claim is higher than anybody at Emsleys anticipated.
He added: “We put our clients and staff at the heart of everything we do, so we’re particularly gratified to have also been shortlisted for a second award that recognises the systems we have introduced to ensure that every aspect of the firm reflects and lives by our brand values: ‘client first, responsible, enterprising’.”
Emsleys has been nominated for Excellence in the Business & Innovation and Excellence in Marketing & Communications categories. The ceremony will take place on 22nd October at the Park Plaza Hotel, London.
The practice has over 120 employees across offices in Colton, Rothwell, Garforth, Crossgates, Castleford and Sherburn in Elmet.
