Leeds law firm wins national client care award
Emsleys of Leeds has won a national award, beating more than 100 law firms from across the country to pick up the Client Care Initiative of the Year award at the inaugural Eclipse Proclaim Modern Law Awards.
Designed to celebrate talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in the modern legal services arena, the awards were judged by a senior panel of legal and business experts, including the executive director of the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Samantha Barrass; chief ombudsman, Adam Sampson; and president of the Law Society, Lucy Scott-Moncrieff; and presented by writer and broadcaster, Gyles Brandreth.
The awards panel considered a number of initiatives pioneered by Emsleys, which has 120 employees, including a range of fixed-fee services, a rewards scheme for client loyalty and a specialist online divorce advisory service. They also reviewed client satisfaction surveys at the firm, which showed that 97.5% of clients would use the firm again and 97% would recommend the legal practice to family and friends.
Andrew Greenwood, partner and personal injury law expert at Emsleys, said; “This award is testimony to the vision and hard work of the whole Leeds team. It recognises the way we’ve invested in staff and technology to deliver great service and value for money, whilst making legal services accessible to all and rewarding clients for their loyalty.
“When Gyles Brandreth, presented the award he said that this was the category all law firms coveted, because without happy clients none of us would be in business.”
