Flybe celebrates landmark passenger milestone at Leeds Bradford Airport
Flybe has celebrated a significant milestone at Leeds Bradford Airport with its 2.5 millionth passenger having passed through the airport since its re-branding in 2002.
Northern Ireland resident Bill McGinnis, the lucky 2.5 millionth passenger, was greeted at check-in for his flight from Leeds Bradford to Belfast City.
Mr McGinnis flies between Leeds Bradford and Belfast City airports in just over an hour, enjoying the flexibility which the four daily flights offer. Belfast City is just a ten minute drive from the heart of the Northern Ireland capital and so is especially convenient for those wanting to fly there and back in a day.
Mr McGinnis said: “As a regular business traveller from Belfast City to Leeds Bradford I am pleased to have been the passenger chosen to celebrate this special passenger milestone.’’
Flybe operate flights from Leeds Bradford to Belfast City up to 4 times daily, Southampton up to 3 times daily and Glasgow up to twice daily.
