Hallé Orchestra celebrates 25 years of Brother sponsorship
Manchester-based electronics firm Brother has celebrated its 25th year of sponsoring the Hallé with a black tie dinner and concert conducted by Sir Mark Elder, featuring world renowned trumpet player Alison Balsom.
Attendees included members of the orchestra and senior figures from Brother and the Hallé, as well as the Lord Mayor of Manchester.
Phil Jones, MD at Brother UK, said: “It’s been a pleasure to support the Hallé for the past 25 years and the concert was a fantastic celebration of this landmark.”
John Summers from the Hallé said, “We’ve enjoyed a longstanding relationship with Brother and their support of our organisation ranks amongst the most significant sponsorships within the arts.”
As part of the ongoing partnership, Brother’s MD Phil Jones will be speaking at the Hallé first Young Professional’s Network event on Thursday 14th November at The Bridgewater Hall.
Brother is a world-wide electronics and manufacturing company, with sales in over 100 countries. The firm markets a product portfolio including colour and mono laser printers, multi-function centres, all-in-one inkjet printers, labelling machines and sewing Machines. The UK subsidiary is based in Audenshaw, and provides sales, marketing, technical support, warehousing and distribution.
