Partnership for SYITC and travel management company

A Yorkshire and Humber corporate travel management company has become the latest sponsor for the South Yorkshire International Trade Centre (SYITC).

Good Travel Management provides comprehensive business travel packages from one stop European visits to multi-location global trips. Established in 1833, the firm works with companies across the UK and has increased sales to more than £16 million through offices in Hull, Leeds, Grimsby, Stockport and the West Midlands.

It is part of the UNIGLOBE Travel International Partnership and also provides assistance in organising trade missions and overseas markets visits.

Kay Couldwell, business development manager at Good Travel Management, said: “Our clients range from all sizes across the country, including the Sheffield City Region. We are therefore delighted to establish a partnership with South Yorkshire International Trade Centre.

“We assist businesses with all areas of corporate travel, from flights, transfers and accommodation to assisting with passports and visas. This can be vital support especially when companies are entering new and emerging markets and we also offer advice and information gained via the Foreign Office regarding where businesses should and shouldn’t be travelling, depending on what is happening across the globe.”

Good Travel Management joins law firm, Hill Dickinson, freight management company, 512 and the Sheffield International Freight Terminal in becoming an SYITC sponsor.

SYITC offers broad support for local businesses to grow their global market, including assisting exporters throughout the process of completing the documentation; from choosing the appropriate documents to ensuring that they are completed correctly.

Nick Patrick, international trade manager at SYITC, added: “It is our intention to build a package of focused support using top class companies that assist businesses with international trade. Exporting can be a daunting experience for companies, especially if they are new to it.

“We want to work with partners to make the process as smooth and as competitive as possible because it is critical that more businesses use international trade as a way of growing sales.

“SYITC has contacts with a host of international Chambers and can help companies break into key markets around the world. We can ease the pathway to finding customers and provide training to support a business which is willing to invest time and money to get their products abroad.”
