Tasty win as Manchester agency lands cheese deal
Adams Foods has appointed Manchester-based Brazen to handle its national PR account for the UK’s number two cheddar brand Pilgrims Choice and new family dairy brand Mu. Brazen won a three-way pitch to clinch the account.
The Ancoats agency will now promote the brand across traditional and digital media and will create creative campaigns to bring to life the Pilgrims Choice strapline ‘Rejoice in the Better Choice’.
It will also be responsible for introducing a new brand, Mu, into the hugely competitive family cheese market. Brazen founder Nina Webb said the company had new ideas for what she called the ‘hero brand’ of Pilgrims Choice and plans to make Mu ‘one of the most famous and loved family cheeses across the nation’. “We’re delighted to be working with one of the most forward-thinking brands out there. “Mu is a fantastic new brand which is already seeing hugely positive results in the hugely competitive family cheese sector.”The agency will report to Adams Foods director of brands Mike Harper and the account will be led by Brazen MD Gary Bramwell.
