Radio creatives relocate to MediaCity UK
The Manchester-based creative audio company Kalua has taken office space at The Greenhouse at MediaCityUK.
Kalua, which creates radio commercials and other audio content for agencies and direct clients, has just launched a radio campaign promoting car manufacturer Dacia.
Managing director Gav Matthews and creative director Steve Simacola are now based at MediaCityUK. A further three staff work off-site.
The agency will retain a studio at its former base in Stockport, but is fully commited to its move to Salford.
Gay Matthews said: “MediaCityUK is the ideal and obvious choice for a company like Kalua. To be right at the heart of the UK’s creative nerve-centre is perfect for our business. As Manchester’s dedicated radio creative agency, we felt it was only right to have a base here at MediaCityUK.”
Other Kalua clients include the BBC, Renault and the Co-operative and the company is also working with Tesco on the launch of its Blinkbox music service.
