Advanced Health & Care unveils latest care technology at Care Show Birmingham Advanced showcases Caresys version 8 and mobile IT solutions for care workers

28 October 2013 – Advanced Health & Care (Advanced), a leading IT provider will unveil Caresys version 8, a widely used end-to-end care home management solution at the Care Show Birmingham at the NEC (stand F52) on 12 and 13 November 2013. The software will be demonstrated alongside a host of other mobile IT solutions.

Caresys version 8 encompasses care planning, time and attendance management and financial and operational management modules. The solution also includes an updated user interface, designed to enhance navigation in addition to enhanced billing and data security functionality.

Advanced will also demonstrate iConnect, a mobile solution which enables care workers to deliver real-time task lists and data via their mobile phones. It also records their actual arrival and departure times at service users’ homes using near-field (NFC) technology.

iConnect eliminates the need for care workers to carry around paper rosters and customers no longer have to sign pieces of paper to prove care workers’ attendance at appointments.

Jim Chase, Managing Director of Advanced Health & Care, says, “The scale and complexity of care businesses in the UK is increasing through merger or expansion, so it is becoming much more important for businesses to have access to flexible and robust end to end care IT solutions.

We will demonstrate and explain how our solutions work and how they can enable providers of all sizes to save time, reduce costs, whilst still delivering great care.“

The Care Show is designed to provide education, products and services for those owning, or running any organisation responsible for the care of older people. Proprietors, directors and managers of care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care agencies, sheltered accommodation, learning disability homes, local authorities, specialist care units and private hospitals are expected to attend.
