SuiteFiles integrates Xero with Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft Partner The Full Suite has integrated Xero’s Practice Manager for accountants with Microsoft Office 365/Sharepoint, providing accountants with low cost, cloud based document management.

The integration with Office 365 and Sharepoint is achieved using The Full Suite’s SuiteFiles web application. SuiteFiles lets documents created in Office 365 automatically include client information from Xero Practice Manager saving accountants hours per week and ensuring documents are more accurate. Client documents such as contracts, images and spreadsheets relevant to a project or job can be accessed directly from SuiteFiles.

Working with Xero Practice Manager, SuiteFiles enhances document management on the Microsoft platform. A template contract can be created in SuiteFiles, and simply updated with data pulled from Practice Manager per client, creating efficiency and consistency and insuring against user error.

“People can now manage their jobs and documents closely together which has a really positive impact on productivity, and all in the cloud too,” says Andrew Sims, The Full Suite General Manager. “We’ve had many requests over the years for this type of integration, so we’re really excited to get it over the line.”

For Xero, the addition of Office 365 as a document management solution for accountants and bookkeepers is huge step in providing complete cloud solutions. “Many accountants have avoided document management as too expensive and too hard. Microsoft Office 365 commoditises document management and SuiteFiles make this a seamless experience for accountants running their practice in the cloud,” says Xero UK MD Gary Turner.

This is the first time a document management system has had two-way integration with Xero Practice Manager. It adds to existing integrations between Xero and Box, Dropbox and Google Drive.

As part of this integration, SuiteFiles also integrates Xero’s WorkFlowMax job costing software with Microsoft Office 365.
