The Market Creative appoints four new staff to support rapid growth

The Market Creative has appointed four new staff to work across the business, including a Head of Strategy and the company’s first apprentice.

The new appointments follow a record year for the retail marketing specialist with a 300% turnover increase in the last 12 months. The company’s client base has expanded to include Silentnight, Grafton Merchanting GB and PZ Cussons. It has also been shortlisted for the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards in the Young Business of the Year category.

Lucy Lorimer joins the company as Head of Strategy. She previously spent ten years at JWT in Manchester, working latterly as a Planning Director.

Caroline Finch Denham has also been appointed. She brings joins 16 years’ marketing experience to the business and will work as Account Director on Grafton GB. She was previously with McCann Manchester & Rippleffect.

Recent English Language and Literature graduate, Sarah Pyatt joins the company as a Junior Account Executive having undertaken a number of internships in the marketing field. She will support the company on Grafton GB & PZ Cussons.

The Market Creative has also taken on its first apprentice. Hannah Sutton has been appointed as Business Administration Assistant following the company’s collaboration with Trafford College. The one-year development programme includes a combination of formal and on-the-job training, which will equip Hannah with a Level 2 Intermediate Level Apprenticeship qualification.

Sue Benson, managing director at The Market Creative said: “The business has grown rapidly over the last 12 months with a raft of new business as well as growing our work with existing clients. We now feel in a strong position to invest and grow the team.”
