Digital business club to offer services and advice in real time

A digital support network for small businesses is set to replicate its e-offering in real time – allowing start-ups and new businesses to visit and experience its own e-office environment in person.

Enterprise Nation usually occupies a place in the digital world, with a community of more than 70,000 entrepreneurs who make use of its practical daily self-help blogs, webinars, newsletters, Twinterviews, and cyber-space get-togethers, often discussing the merits of e-commerce.

From Monday November 25, the team is set to break out of the virtual world into a physical space after the support network announced it is to partner with co-working specialist Club Workspace.

Members will not only be encouraged to pop-in and experience the ‘real Enterprise Nation’, they will also be able to work with the team, take in a daily blog, delivered in a physical environment, experience seminars in person and have a real chat with a fellow entrepreneur around a real water cooler.

Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones said: “We love the idea of popping up in real time and offering what we do digitally in a physical space. Entrepreneurs are not just hungry for information, they are also keen to exchange experience and share ideas and skills openly.

“We’re offering free office space which includes access to on-site experts, events and networking. In fact everything you get online but in real time. We’ll even be running start a business in your lunch hour for all the 5 to 9ers out there.”

Club Workspace MD, James Friedenthal said: “We are delighted to have Enterprise Nation pop-up at our latest and sixth club on Chancery Lane. Our communities share many values. December will be fun.”

The Enterprise Nation London pop-up starts on Monday November 25 at Club Workspace’s Chancery Lanespace and will run up to Christmas. Members of the support network will be able to work in the space for up to three days for free, and pick and choose from the live debates, workshops and expert briefings that will be taking place.

Events are to include setting up a website in your lunch hour, a quick guide to blogging, social media, planning and going global.
