Anesco manager recognised as leading energy expert

Ben Hart, ESCO technical manager at national energy efficiency solutions company Anesco, has been recognised by the Energy Institute as a leader in his field.

Reading-based Anesco works with business, local authorities, housing associations and homeowners looking to reduce their carbon emissions. The company has managed some of the UK’s largest and most complex energy efficiency projects and is one of the country’s fastest growing private firms.

Ben has achieved Chartered Energy Manager (CEM) status after demonstrating a high level of expertise in energy management and a broad knowledge of the energy sector. The accreditation recognises individuals who are concerned with the management and efficient use of energy in various forms and the implementation of energy policies.

Ben commented: “I’m really pleased to have become a Chartered Energy Manager. I have been working in the energy industry for over five years now and have been lucky enough to have gained a huge amount of experience in all types of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. This ranges from individual households through to large public and private sector organisations. It’s great to have my work in the industry recognised in an official capacity such as this.”

He added: “My current role at Anesco places me at the forefront of this constantly evolving industry – developing new models and methods of working with available funding streams to create multi-million pound ESCO projects that provide holistic solutions for our clients.”

Adrian Pike, CEO of Anesco, said: “Achieving Chartered status is fantastic recognition for not only Ben’s experience but his dedication to the energy efficiency sector. The ongoing success and growth of Anesco is down to the strength of the management team we have at our core – individuals like Ben who excel in their area of expertise.”
