Sovereign Health Care invests in Energy Reduction Scheme

Bradford based Sovereign Health Care has signed up to an innovative Energy Reduction Scheme with RP&P Energy Services Ltd.

The ‘Energy Efficient Planning’ scheme (EEP) will continuously monitor how Sovereign Health Care’s Head Office uses energy and identify opportunities to reduce their energy spend, limiting exposure to future energy price increases.

Sovereign Health Care was impressed by the potential savings through the scheme after RP&P Energy Services Ltd reviewed the company’s energy use. RP&P Energy Services Ltd is able to use their buying power from relationships with technology providers to offer the cost benefits to SME’s that may not have otherwise been achievable.

Russ Piper, CEO of Sovereign Health Care commented “The scheme allows us to effectively recruit an entire team of professionals for a fraction of the cost of one directly employed Energy Manager. We can now continue to focus on providing excellent products and services to our clients and leave RP&P Energy Services to help us manage our running costs.”

Andrew Hawley, Managing Director of RP&P Energy Services Ltd, said “This is a great example of how SME’s are being proactive in reducing their energy spend. The scheme places experienced energy professionals within reach of lower energy users, helping them to reduce their running costs and stay competitive.

It is a timely decision for Sovereign Health Care given the recent energy price rises and we urge other SME’s to explore the potential savings in their businesses.“

The businesses began working together after meeting through Bradford Chamber of Commerce. RP&P Energy Services Ltd has recently joined the Chamber’s Eco-Hub network with the goal of sharing their expertise and reaching even more companies in the region to help them make energy savings.
