NW accountancy firm pushes for growth by joining international network

North West accountancy firm Mitchell Charlesworth is looking to drive overseas growth after becoming a member of Kreston International, the global network of independent accounting firms.

The admittance of Mitchell Charlesworth, which has 17 partners across offices in Liverpool, Chester, Manchester, Warrington and Widnes, increases Kreston’s coverage across the North West.

The news comes just weeks after Mitchell Charlesworth was named Accountancy Firm of the Year at the North West Finance Awards 2013.

Managing partner David Darlington said: “The move supports the firm’s international ambitions to grow the practice and to reach out to new clients overseas. Mitchell Charlesworth was founded in 1885 and has 140 professional and support staff, having grown through mergers and acquisitions.

Mitchell Charlesworth also offers specialist services including corporate finance, business insurance, wealth management, outsourced payroll and corporate recovery and insolvency expertise.
