UK Thought Leader Presents at Commonwealth Business Forum

National UK training provider, Pitman Training Group, is taking to the stage alongside multiple heads of state at this week’s Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) to discuss the requisites of education in tackling global recovery from the recession 12-14 November, in Columbia, Sri Lanka.

Roy Newey, non-executive director of Pitman Training Group, has been asked to present at the CBF, on the subject of Employability and Job Creation. The Forum is the primary event in the Commonwealth, attended by over a thousand delegates which include, Members of the Royal Family, Heads of Government, Ministers, and business leaders and representatives from all over the world.

Newey, is set to highlight the importance of Education and Training whilst presenting the world’s best practice strategies and initiatives to promote economic recovery and growth. With credentials ranging from establishing and leading a vocational skills and employment business in India, to assisting the President of Zambia facilitate the development of initiatives for economic growth, Newey’s experience in global education and training provide a platform from which to take new strategic discussions into the centre stage.

Alongside Newey, Yoweri Museveni the President of Uganda and Hon Kamla Persad-Bissessar Prime Minister, Trinidad & Tobago, amongst many others will speak at the CBF, to ensure sustainable growth is maximised to benefit the whole of the global society.

With critical crisis including the Philippines at the forefront of discussions, the need to develop achievable economic recovery strategies is key.
