London Showcase for Liverpool's Arena and Convention Centre
Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) Liverpool is preparing for its annual London Showcase, when a delegation from the city will host the eighth event of its kind at Two Temple Place on November 28.
Staff from ACC Liverpool, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, will be joined by 17 city partners including Marketing Liverpool and a selection of venues including Liverpool Football Club, National Museums Liverpool and Knowsley Hall.
Hotels including Jurys Inn and DoubleTree by Hilton, opening in Liverpool city centre next year, will also be represented.
Around 100 existing and potential clients, including NHS Confederation, the Royal College of Nursing and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, are expected to attend.
Guests will hear the latest news from ACC Liverpool including plans for the new Exhibition Centre Liverpool, expansion into the international market and enhancements to the venue.
Kerrin MacPhie, director of sales at ACC Liverpool, said: “This has been an exciting and busy fifth year for us and we are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2014 with the start on site of our exhibition centre and a global event, the International Festival for Business, coming to the city.
“Our Showcase gives us an opportunity to catch up with our valued contacts in the association, corporate and exhibition markets.”
