Property investor reports further regeneration of Leeds City Centre
Town Centre Securities plc, the property investor and developer, has detailed the continuing growth of the Merrion Centre and regeneration of the town centre in Leeds.
TCS obtained planning permission for an 128 room hotel, and a 600,00 sq ft mixed use development at Whitehall Riverside.
New leisure units in the centre have been let to Pure Gyms, Costa and Cosmo. However four tenants have gone into administration, including Barratts retailer, which Bdaily reported on earlier in the week, here. The property in Bradford previously leased by Barratts is being converted to residential accomodation with the help of Bradford City Council.
Other highlights include the contract achieved be TCS to refurbish Merrion House, which Leeds City Council will leas for another 25 years upon completion.
