Yorkshire House on the market after £3 million refurbishment

Newly refurbished Grade A offices in Yorkshire House are to be marketed by Knight Frank’s Leeds base.

The iconic seven-storey building, which dominates Greek Street and East Parade in the heart of the professional and financial core of the city, is owned by the Hansteen Group of Companies. It is available for occupiers to lease now, after the £3million refurbishment.

Office suites range from 1,500 sq ft to 18,000 sq ft with rents from £21 per sq ft.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded this very prestigious instruction. The stunning refurbishment and total transformation of Yorkshire House, has brought the building up to Grade A office standard and will capitalise on the ever-reducing levels of high quality stock in the city.

“The £3 million refurbishment places the development at the very top of the quality Leeds office market”.

She added: “An exceptional number of amenities are available in the immediate vicinity including Carluccio’s, Jamie’s Italian, Pret, All Bar One, Piccolino, San Carlo and the Gaucho Steak House Restaurant.”

“The building is located close to Leeds Rail Station and within an easy walk of the city’s retail amenities. On-site car parking is a real bonus.”

Charlie Royle of Hansteen said: “We are delighted to welcome Knight Frank on board. Their office agency team has a very high reputation in Leeds and I know they will ensure that Yorkshire House is marketed in a pro-active and imaginative manner. We look forward to working with Knight Frank and DTZ to secure a number of office lettings at Yorkshire House.”.

The main tenants of Yorkshire House are leading Leeds law firm Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley and the joint marketing agents are the Leeds office of DTZ.
