Citu grows with new appointment

Pioneering property developer Citu has appointed Sales Negotiator Nadia Jagiellowicz to manage the marketing centre at their Sheffield-based Little Kelham development.

Nadia, from Brincliffe, joined Citu in October and has five years’ experience in property sales and lettings across the region – focusing her skills on new-build homes, as well as taking a particular interest in sustainable developments.

Citu’s Little Kelham project will deliver 150 new eco-friendly 1-4 bedroom houses in Sheffield’s Kelham Island over the next three years, and will also include commercial and leisure facilities. The site includes four existing buildings that are set to be refurbished including the landmark Green Lane Works archway.

The marketing centre, which doubles as a working bakery and includes a pizza oven, will be used for community gatherings and business meetings until the build is complete. A decision Citu says is in line with its commitment to delivering sustainable, community-focused and digitally enabled projects.

Discussing the industry, Nadia said: “I started in 2008 at the peak of the property crash. It was a tough market and it was a steep learning curve to climb if I wanted to be successful. The opportunity to sell new-builds allowed me to investigate the types of properties we should be investing in, particularly in terms of sustainability.

“I love helping customers find their dream home, and knowing that the design of these homes will be centred on community really adds to that sense of excitement.”

Aisling Ramshaw, Head of Sales and Marketing for the Little Kelham project said: “It’s brilliant to have someone with such relevant market experience and interest in sustainable building involved in the project – managing customer enquiries and based in our own sustainable marketing centre.

“With new projects we feel it is important to also build a community, and Little Kelham’s new homes, commercial workspaces and community areas help to champion this.”
