Hotel raises game with international quality award

The Best Western Crown Hotel Boroughbridge has received the highest score yet for its annual international quality assessment by Best Western Hotels.

This latest confirmation of quality follows the hotel’s win of the prestigious Best Customer Service Award from Best Western Hotels earlier this year.

“Our policy of continuous improvement is paying off as this is the third increase in our score against the exacting standards demanded by the Best Western brand standard. Achieving these improvements is testament to the owner’s continued investment in the property and the great team of people here at the Crown”. comments hotel general manager Emma Lee.

The hotel has recently completed a tasteful refurbishment of all of the ground floor areas including lobby, lounges and meetings and banqueting suites. The inspector commented in his report about the wisdom of the continuous investment.

The hotel has risen in the past year from 108 to 38th in the group’s rankings and was cited to have delivered the most improved service levels and customer satisfaction of all 280 hotels in the group.

“We are a small hotel with limited resources but we do have a dedicated team whose focus on customer satisfaction has been clearly recognized”. added Emma.
