North East Accountancy Awards is once again set to celebrate talent in our region

Now in its 8th year this well established awards evening continues to go from strength to strength attracting accountants and finance managers from all sectors. The 2013 awards saw winners from The Sage Group, KPMG, PwC, NHS Business Services Authority among others.

The most esteemed award of the night is for Outstanding Achievement which recognises business leaders who have consistently excelled in their field over a number of years. The 2013 award was awarded to Robert Forrester, CEO of Vertu Mortors Plc, Robert explains what it meant to him to be honoured with this achievement: “I am extremely proud to be presented with this award. A company is only as good as the people who work within it, and undoubtedly, the credit for Vertu’s success must be given to all my extremely hard-working colleagues, who have helped this company to grow and expand to become one of the largest automotive retailers in Europe”.
