P three Business boss at NETPark event
The boss of a leading business support firm is due to share some insight at a masterclass event in the region.
Barbara Dennis OBE, the managing director of P three Business, will share her extensive experience of working in management and organisational development at the North East Technology Park (NETPark) in Sedgefield next month.
Businesses are being offered the chance to attend the masterclass in innovation leadership at the one-day event on Thursday December 12.
The aim of the workshop, organised by Business Durham, Durham County Council’s business gateway, is to assist businesses to find out what’s new, what’s better and what’s next.
To help them achieve this, attendees will hear from business consultant and executive coach.
Barbara will talk about her work with a range of local, national and regional organisations.
Attendees will also get tips on how to develop their value curves, identify and target the unmet needs of their market and how to understand the connection between leadership and innovation.
Barbara said: “To be competitive, companies need to create greater value for customers by focusing on what people really want and how they want to buy.
“This workshop will introduce them to breakthrough thinking to generate value, aligned with innovation for competitive advantage.”
The class is part of the wider NETPark Net Innovation Academy programme which provides a series of tools and workshops designed specifically for companies who are developing a range of products and services.
The masterclass will provide companies with proven tools and methodologies which will build structure, certainty and confidence into their innovation process as well as a clear understanding of their role in determining the future of their products and services.
Business Durham managing director Simon Goon said: “The innovation masterclass is the latest exciting opportunity offered at NETPark, supporting businesses and helping put County Durham firmly on the map as a hub for innovative companies.
“The workshop will provide valuable and effective tools to our science engineering and technology companies to help them on their innovation journey.”
No prior knowledge of innovation leadership is needed and businesses can book their place by emailing innovation@uknetpark.net or online at www.npninnovation.eventbrite.com
