Market leader Dawn wins national award
North East marketing manager Dawn Tindle has won a top award for her work at Britain’s largest housebuilder.
She picked up the national award for Individual Excellence at Barratt Developments, which employs over 5,000 staff throughout Britain.
Dawn, based at the company’s North East division in Newcastle, was recognised for the impact she has made on the business since joining in 2012.
Her work on enhancing the division’s digital presence and devising innovative campaigns has led to increased website visits and sales rates.
Dawn, 31, from Washington but now living in Longbenton, studied English at Northumbria University and worked at Gateshead Council before joining Barratt.
She said: ““Housebuilding is a really exciting industry to work in and I’ve had the chance to get involved in a great range of marketing campaigns. It’s fantastic to be recognised at this level for my work.”
Fenton Hewitt, Sales Director at Barratt North East, said: “We’re delighted at this achievement. Dawn has had a massive impact on our marketing plans over the last 12 months.
“She has moved us into the digital age and regularly produces evidence of the success of this strategy.
“Her persistence and commitment is admirable and has resulted in her recent promotion to Marketing Manager.”
