Petards secure future contract with MoD
The Gateshead-based supplier of surveillance and security equipment has secured an extension on its contract to provide engineering services to the Ministry of Defence (Mod).
Petards will continue the contract, worth roughly £0.75 million, until December 2015.
The firm will provide technical support services related to the electronic countermeasure systems fitted to aircraft within the MOD’s fleet.
Petards chairman Raschid Abdullah said: “We are very pleased that the MOD has awarded this contract extension which we consider to be recognition of the high level of customer service and experience that Petards provides in supporting their requirements in this specialist field.”
