NBSL Launch ‘business bullets’

Free bite-size ideas and tips from 100’s of regional experts! The regional business support agency NBSL have been working behind the scenes, establishing an impressive network of over 700 business service development professionals across the North East approved to access funding to support regional clients grow and thrive.

’Taking advice on key business processes and issues can significantly improve business performance, and support growth. At NBSL we have enabled literally thousands of small and medium sized businesses in the North East to access expert advice and specialist skills.

Seeing the impact of expert input within the region’s enterprise community sparked an idea. What if we could showcase the network’s knowledge and expertise, and create a new way to encourage regional businesses to learn from and inspire each other!’ Phil Langton, CEO of NBSL.

The team has now launched a new initiative to showcase expert thinking from across the North East business service development community.

The ‘Business Bullets’ initiative reflects contemporary thinking in business support. Enabling the business community to help each other and share the secrets of success, and encouraging considered strategic investment in professional services.

’We have been overwhelmed by the response to ‘Business Bullets’, with over one hundred articles submitted proposed in the first month! Topics put forward cover everything from creating a new corporate identity, to practical tips for planning staff training.

We are encouraging all regional business service development professionals within the North East community to get involved, share their top tips and showcase their expertise. The ‘Business Bullets’ site is growing fast, with new articles being submitted every week. Content can be searched by topic and interest and are actively circulated through a range of media and channels.’ John King, North East Business Support Manager.

Given the success of the North East Business Fund, NBSL’s fast, efficient and painless business grant scheme, the team are presently developing thinking on the future of regional business support as an active member of the North East enterprise support agenda.
