Housebuilder branches out to support Easingwold

A house builder has embraced the festive spirit after confirming its commitment to Easingwold’s Christmas tree.

The 20-foot tree has been fully funded by Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, cementing its presence in the community as it embarks on a brand new housing development off York Road.

The Vale development will provide the market town with an exclusive cluster of 22 three and four bedroom homes and is already generating many enquiries as Persimmon’s field sales manager, Emma Johnson, explained.

She said: “We are very pleased with the volume of interest The Vale has generated, even before a single brick has been laid.

“Easingwold is a picturesque market town with a wonderful community feel and as the Christmas tree is one of the community’s most cherished customs we were more than happy to support the town’s festivities.”

Chairman of Easingwold Town Council, Diane Gallon, added: The Christmas tree is located on the Market Green right in the heart of the community and is an important landmark for the town’s residents throughout December.

“We are very grateful to Persimmon Homes for their support.”

Construction at The Vale has begun with the first new residents expected to move in during Summer 2014. House prices will be released very soon and are expected to be in the region of £180,000 to £290,000 for three and four bedroom homes. Part exchange will be available as will the Government-backed Help To Buy scheme so prospective purchasers will be able to buy at The Vale with a deposit of just £9,000.

To register your interest at The Vale call 01904 642 199 or visit www.persimmonhomes.com. Alternatively, the marketing suite on York Road will open in January 2014.
