New Rutland homes will cut fuel bills
Stunning new homes being launched in Rutland this month will be highly energy efficient thanks to the latest in building technology.
Charles Church East Midlands is creating homes at Thorpe Manor near Oakham using the latest timber frame Space4 technology, which could help save thousands of pounds in fuel bills because it is so energy efficient.
The select development of three, four and five-bedroom homes is located on the northern edge of the historic market town of Oakham and is within a short walk of the sought-after-village of Barleythorpe.
The town is home to the renowned Oakham School and has an excellent variety of independent shops and eateries. The location offers the best of both worlds, with the beautiful Rutland Water nearby, offering plenty of sporting and recreational pursuits, whilst still retaining great commuter links with cities such as Leicester.
Cheryl Bissett, sales and marketing director with Charles Church East Midlands, said: “It is important that people realise the advantages of living in a new home.
“Statistics show that energy costs are 55 per cent less in a new build home than any other type of house – that could be an annual saving of £1,300. For buyers, a new-build home means energy efficient heating systems, first-rate loft insulation and draft free double glazed windows and doors.
“The backbone of a Space4 home is a conventional timber frame structure which is therefore extremely energy efficient. It helps both the home-buyer and the environment through lower consumption of heating fuels.”
Space 4 Uses CAD/CAM production techniques from the automotive industry and a unique patented injection technology to produce structures for homes and apartments.
Prices at Thorpe Manor start from £269,995.
