Newcastle duo step out with creative start-up
A pair of Newcastle-based entrepreneurs have launched their own creative business after securing just under £10k of funding from Gateshead-based Transmit Start-Ups.
Everything is my Design is the brainchild of Mark Dawson and Mickey Devine, who are using their experience in national and regional firms to go it alone.
The Heaton-based partnership will provide graphic design services and visual communications, and already have a number of clients on the books.
Journalism graduate Mark has worked in copywriting and marketing roles across the region while designer Mickey has worked for agencies in London as well as The Roundhouse in Newcastle.
Mark said: “Our ambition is to provide top quality work and to do this we intend to remain a small outfit. This funding has really allowed us to get on our feet and get our studio together.
“We’ve already got a number of clients and will be looking to build on this in the New Year. In 12 months time we might look to bring on a web developer, although our ambitions are to keep the team tight.”
The pair are offering graphic design; print and editorial services; web design and consultancy services.
