Construction software specialists Kykloud enjoy "phenomenal" growth
North Shields-based construction software outfit Kykloud have been named “The One to Watch” in this year’s UK Construction Computing Awards, following 12 months of growth.
Known as “The Hammers”, the awards showcase technology, tools and solutions used in the design, construction, maintainance of commercial and residential building projects, and civil engineering schemes.
Nick Graham, CTO and co founder of kykloud said; “Kykloud is changing the way in which surveyors carry out condition assessments and manage complex data; a job that would have taken three hours can now take as little as 60 minutes and the industry is recognising that technology like ours cannot only save time but increase accuracy and efficiency.
“Recognition from an expert industry judging panel that our software is game changing and is having a huge impact on the industry, cements the hard work and the efforts of the growing team who have helped to develop this product from initial concept to where we are today – a product that is being used to better manage more than 40 million sq m of built assets across 5 continents, including a significantly large proportion of the UK’s education estate as part of the Department of Education’s commitment to understanding the condition of the nation’s schools.
“Earlier this year we signed an exclusive deal with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors - RICS – to become the only approved provider of mobile templates, allowing its surveyors to benefit from greater use of mobile technology, safe in the knowledge the reports they are producing meet stringent RICS standards. This deal demonstrates just how important mobile technology is to the industry and we are delighted to be at the forefront of developments.”
