Leeds Bradford to Innsbruck ski route reintroduced
Tour operator Inghams has announced the reintroduction of a Leeds Bradford Airport-Innsbruck route, with ski holidays on the agenda.
Yorkshire travels will be able to take advantage of flights and holidays between December 21 2013 and April 5 2014.
The Surrey-based holiday firm are selling packages in 28 resorts across Austria and Italy.
Tony Hallwood, Leeds Bradford Airport’s aviation development and marketing director, said: “LeedsBradford Airport welcomes the introduction of direct, weekly, Saturday flights to Innsbruck, the gateway to the slopes of Austria and Italy.
“I am delighted that Yorkshire skiers can now access a wide range of ski resorts direct from Leeds Bradford, Yorkshire’s gateway airport.”
Peter Moore, Inghams head of Scheduled Aviation said; “Inghams is excited to reintroduce flights fromLeeds Bradford Airport to Innsbruck using new Austrian Airlines aircraft Airbus A319. The new aircraft carries 138 passengers weekly from Leeds Bradford Airport to the ski slopes of Austria and the Dolomites.”
