Admiral make four appointments
Admiral PR has made four appointments to its Newcastle head office, after winning new contracts totalling more than £250k.
Steve Maybury joins the agency as account director, specialising in B2B campaigns and brings with him a wealth of experience in sectors such as professional and financial services, education, logistics and safety.
Heidi Boden has made the move from Manchester to join the Newcastle team as account manager. She has five years’ PR experience working across both B2B and consumer accounts, including legal, finance, retail and construction.
Company director and head of Admiral’s Newcastle office, Peter Bould, said: “Admiral has had a remarkable few months which have seen us win new clients in professional and financial services, oil and gas, energy, architecture and FMCG. That has meant we have been able to make additions to our team and recruit people who are skilled in those sectors.”
Having completed a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations, Anne-Marie Bailey has also made the move from Manchester back to her native North East, and joins the team as senior account executive.
Ann Marie Slattery also joins the team as account executive, having completed a six-month internship at Northumberland County Council.
Bould continued: “To have won new contracts in our North East office that have resulted in us recruiting four new employees is particularly pleasing considering the region is still suffering from tough market conditions.
“That said, we see this recent news as being indicative of a more positive operating environment which is slowly but surely gathering strength and momentum.”
