Children North East giving tree appeal

ITPS give generously this Christmas

This Christmas ITPS decided we would like to do something to help disadvantaged children and families in our region over the festive season, in hope that together we could make a difference to these youngsters lives… even if just for one day, to bring a smile to their faces and those around them.

Together we looked into various organisations and came across a brilliant cause in Children North East, the region’s oldest children’s charity. With 132,000 children in the North East officially living in poverty, we decided the amazing group of people who work with these children and their parents daily, would much appreciate our help in being able to deliver a special gift at Christmas to those less fortunate and who for various reasons are living in poverty or whose lives are disadvantaged because of family misfortune. Luckily this year Children North East were holding a Giving Tree Appeal, so this gave us the perfect stepping stone to get involved. All we had to do was contribute a gift, no matter how big or small into the specially prepared collection box under our Christmas tree. These gifts didn’t even need to be wrapped, as CNE staff would sort through the donations to make sure they were distributed in the best possible way.
