Peel Properties say bumper Merseyside year reflects upturn in market
Manchester-based Peel Land and Property say a bumper year for their properties in Merseyside area indicates an upturn in the market.
The firm, part of the national Peel Group, has completed over 40 lettings in Merseyside over the last 12 months.
Peel’s Liverpool and Wirral industrial portfolios saw 32 lettings while at Liverpool’s Princes Dock, there were nine grade A office lettings over the last year.
Deals include the expansion of VOSS Training into a 10,000 sq ft space.
Patrick Hughes, associate director at Legat Owen, one of the agents acting on the Merseyside industrial portfolio, said: “We have now begun to see a turn in the market and the 40 deals that we have done over the past 12 months, I think is a good reflection of this.
“We have seen a range of occupiers move into the various industrial estates and business parks within the portfolio from other locations and in addition it has been really encouraging to see occupiers who have been with Peel for many years starting to expand their businesses within the portfolio.”
