Joe Manby Limited’s stately invitation from the prime minister
Specialists at a Yorkshire events services company received a stately invitation from prime minister David Cameron to attend a reception at Number 10 Downing Street.
Joe Manby Limited company director Richard Manby and divisional directors Charles Paines and Greg Cussons were invited to the exclusive event in London that was designed as a ‘thank you’ to the people who each year help to deliver the Conservative Party Conference.
Joe Manby Limited, of Harrogate, has been working on the conference since 1985, and was recently re-appointed for a further five years.
Richard said: “The invitation came out of the blue and was a welcome recognition for our role in delivering the conference.
“We’ve been providing event services to the Conservative Party Conference for 28 years, working closely with organiser Fingerprint Events and the party’s commercial team and we thrive on the challenges the event offers to be bigger and better each year.”
