Big Crabbie's Grand National ticket giveaway at Liverpool ONE brings a little extra Christmas cheer
Fifty Christmas Eve shoppers at Liverpool ONE got their hands on a pair of tickets each to Ladies Day at The Crabbie’s Grand National Festival to make the festive period even more special. Aintree Racecourse planted 50 pairs of tickets in selected stores on Christmas Eve to mark 100 days until the start of the national sporting showpiece, which runs from April 3-5.
The first five shoppers to spend £100 in either Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols, Boux Avenue, Coast, Dune, Hobbs, Karen Millen, Lipsy, Oasis, Reiss and Ted Baker ladies were issued a voucher by staff which entitles them to two free Tattersalls tickets to Ladies Day.
“Giving away the chance to attend The Crabbie’s Grand National Festival was our Christmas gift,” said Jockey Club North West Regional Director John Baker.
“What’s more they will be there on Ladies Day, which is such an iconic day, where Liverpool shows why it is one of the most stylish cities in the world.”
According to Liverpool ONE, all of the tickets were claimed by shoppers who were excited to be given an extra special free gift on what was a bumper shopping day.
“The response from shoppers who received tickets was fantastic,” said Donna Howitt, Marketing & Business Performance Director at Liverpool ONE. “The Crabbie’s Grand National Festival is such a prestigious occasion and it is right on our doorstep.
“For people to be offered the chance to experience that for free is such a wonderful thing to do at Christmas and we are glad we could work with Aintree Racecourse to offer that.”
