Lemon keeps businesses going through holidays

Stockton-based Lemon Business Solutions has continued to work throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays providing emergency call management services to clients nationwide.

From grandma’s stair lift suddenly not working on Christmas morning to the gas going off in a commercial kitchen on New Year’s Eve, there is a whole network of engineers and other people on-call over the holidays keeping things going so everyone else can enjoy sometime off. Lemon Business Solutions, based in Stockton, provides 24/7 call management services to companies throughout the UK, with particular expertise in out-of-hours emergency call out. Managing Director Martin Anderson explained how the Lemon team was on hand this Christmas and will continue to take emergency calls while other people are enjoying New Year parties. “The service we provides allows businesses to operate a true 24/7 service to their customers, even over the holiday period, which can be particularly busy for some market sectors. “As pleasurable as Christmas and New Year are there can also be a lot of stress. When something goes wrong we are at hand to support our customers’ businesses by ensuring services are maintained to their clients, no matter the time of day, or day of the week,” he said. Lemon’s clients range from international law firms and engineering to IT and the care sector. Martin added: “It is a diverse customer base. A number of our clients close their offices entirely for the fortnight over the holiday period but still need to provide an emergency service. “They will divert all their incoming calls to us to be handled professionally and dealt with appropriately.” He said this Christmas morning was a typically busy time. “Unfortunately, problems occur regardless of the fact it’s Christmas, which can have a real impact on someone’s Christmas Day. Our team were at the end of the phone for our clients to help people in their time of need and hopefully making sure their Christmas wasn’t ruined.
