The if agency launches Paddy Power’s new super fast betting app
The if agency – the Manchester based creative agency – has created the launch campaign for Paddy Power Messenger; Paddy Power’s new app.
The core aims and objectives of the launch, which includes a series of full page and double page spread ads in the national press, outdoor, as well as banner ads on key online media, are to create general awareness of the new app, its features & benefits and to drive downloads and installs. The if team has also created a tutorial video, embedded into the app, showing users how to use it.
Paddy Power Messenger is the world’s first fully personalised sports betting app. Users simply choose which of their favourite football teams, leagues, horses, jockey, trainers or racecourses to follow and they will then receive messages for every update, development and bet. The aim is to ensure they get their bet on as quickly as possible and stay one step ahead of the crowd on the sports they care about most.
The app has various key features: it allows users to bet on any sport using simple instructions; to enjoy complete control of the messages sent to them; to receive reminders on their preferred sports; to receive live text commentary on football matches in super quick time and to get access to all their standard Paddy Power account functions. It also has some useful shortcuts including the option to check an account balance, request odds or withdraw cash. In addition, users can take advantage of all Paddy Power specials with the minimum of effort and they can specify how long you want to be logged in for.
Ed King – group account director at The if agency – said:“The new Paddy Power Messenger App is a fantastic evolution and will change the way people interact and bet with their bookmaker. Our strategy for the launch was to create a campaign that not only demonstrated the key features of the product, but that also gave an insight to the key customer benefit too.“
The Paddy Power Messenger App is available to download from the App Store today.
