Teesside pump distributors shortlisted for national award

Billingham-based Tomlinson Hall Ltd have been shortlisted for Distributor of the Year in the prestigious Pump Industry Awards.

Held on March 27 at Kenilworth, the Pump Industry ‘Oscars’ recognise and reward the achievements of both individuals and companies operating within this important industry sector

It’s actually the the eighth consecutive year that Tomlinson Hall have made the final, an acknowledgement of the Teesside-based distributors’ technical experience and knowledge as business development director, Colin Simpson explained: “We’ve made the final for seven consecutive years and have actually won the title on three occasions, the only pump distributor to have done so, but we take nothing for granted as there are some very good companies out there in a fiercely competitive market.”

“However, despite tough economic conditions, we have continued to extend both our geographical market and number of OEM’s for whom we act without losing the attention to detail that has been the foundation to our success.

“We’ve built a reputation for supplying customised solutions for clients which often involves more than one type of pumping system and sophisticated engineering to co-ordinate them, so we’re going down to Kenilworth full of confidence in the hope of bringing some silverware back to the region!”

The winning companies in the Awards are selected by a combination of judges and readers’ votes.
