US energy expert to talk shale gas experience at Tyneside event
A major energy conference to be held in Gateshead will place shale gas extraction at the centre of its agenda.
The NOF annual conference, to be held in March at the Newcastle/Gateshead Hilton will bring a number of major energy industry players to the region.
High profile speakers such as David Prowell, vice president of GE Hitachi will feature, alongside Don Pierson of Louisiana Economic Development, who will talk about the US experience with shale gas.
A panel discussion on onshore oil and gas in the UK will be chaired by Ken Cronin, of the UK Onshore Operators Group.
