Ringtons secure six-figure Midlands business

Newcastle-headquartered tea and coffee merchants Ringtons have scooped six new contracts with hotels in the Midlands to supply hot beverages and supplies.

The firm’s Beverages division has secured new accounts with Barnsdale Hall Hotel in Rutland; Horsley Lodge Hotel in Derbyshire; Quorn Grange Hotel, Leicester; The Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford; the Heritage Park Hotel in Leicester and the Tollgate Hotel and Leisure complex in Stoke-on-Trent.

Clive Woods heads up sales for Ringtons in the Midlands, he said: “I have personally worked in the leisure and hotel industry for over 20 years and know just how important tea and coffee are to this sector – after all a good cuppa can make all the difference to a good night’s stay, breakfast or an evening meal.

“At Ringtons we are able to offer the ideal solution for businesses – a high quality product, great service and a visually appealing range and this is why I believe we’ve made such an impact in the region.”

The deals are said to be worth a six-figure a year to Ringtons, who anticipate a further ten contract wins in the first few months of 2014.

Ringtons also operates their traditional doorstep delivery service in the Midlands whereby customers are able to buy tea, coffee, edibles and seasonal specials from salespeople on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
